about us
I’m passionate about what I do—bringing my craft around the world to capture life’s most meaningful moments in the best way possible.
Being invited into such an important day and instantly made to feel like part of the family is something I don’t take for granted. It’s a privilege to capture the joy, emotion, and beauty of these once-in-a-lifetime moments. One of my favorite parts of the day is when a father sees his daughter for the first time. As a father of two girls myself, I always get emotional—knowing that one day, I’ll be in his shoes.
Right after the ceremony, there’s this incredible moment when the couple finally has a breath to just be with each other. It’s raw, real, and full of emotion. Then the wedding party joins in, and the energy shifts to pure celebration. Capturing that transition is always special.
I know how fast the day flies by, so I do everything I can to capture as much as possible. My goal is to give you something you can truly look back on and re-live—not just the big moments, but the in-between ones, too. I focus on the people you love most (which is everyone there), the details you poured your heart into, natural portraits that feel timeless, and the real stuff—laughter, happy tears, kids running around (or napping… or crying), the band playing, everyone on the dance floor, and the beauty of the space around you. I’m there to tell the full story, just as it unfolds.
My wife, Lydia, and I live in the Southeast and are raising five amazing kids—Prudence, James, Milly, Gideon, and Hank. We are a homeschool family, which gives us the flexibility to spend a lot of time together.
We’re big on making memories—whether it’s gardening, fishing, hiking, bike rides, boat days, disc golf, camping, or even hunting. There’s always something going on, and we love finding joy in the little moments that make each day special.
