Amanda and Timmy
Amanda and Timmy’s intimate Savannah wedding was laden with fine details and fun surprises for their guests. It boasted an elegant, yet homestyle southern charm that gave their celebration a unique atmosphere. Among their day’s finer details, Amanda and Timmy graciously gifted their wedding guests with a hand-prepared gift bag containing several local treats, as well as an ice cream cart that served the guests some delicious southern flavors during the cocktail hour. The most unique moment of the entire day was when Amanda and Timmy dug up an aged bottle of bourbon – a timeless southern tradition said to stave off the rain on the couple’s wedding day.
Amanda’s gown, intricately crafted by Calla Blanche was excellently accented by Timmy’s custom, double breasted suit from J. Crew, and her floral arrangements (both in her bouquet, and otherwise) were beautifully crafted from a neutral color palette that allowed her gown to truly dazzle throughout the day. Amanda and Timmy’s cocktail hour in the illustrious Forsyth Park was flavored by tasteful acoustic music by local artist Brandon Shane Reeves, and a first dance covered with bubbles by their intimate group of friends and family. Their guests finally enjoyed ring toss and other classic games before retreating to a stunning seated dinner at the Harper Fowlkes House. The tables each had their own fruit and cheese spread served on a custom wooden platter, and custom drinks specifically designed by the bride and groom. The newlyweds and guests enjoyed their dinner accompanied by melodious tunes coming from a small orchestral group that included a gorgeous, antique harp. The evening ended with a few toasts from close friends and family, as well as a heart-warming message from Timmy’s father, which Timmy translated for the guests. This lovely Savannah wedding was one that will not be soon forgotten by anyone in attendance!
Congratulations Timmy and Amanda! Wishing you many years of prosperity and happiness together!
“Davy was such a blessing on our wedding day! His timeless photographs captured the emotions of our special day. Davy’s love for photography radiates from behind the camera. He is truly exceptional. His calming nature and wisdom put us at ease and guided our photography experience. He was always professional, organized, and courteous. Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words, and other times they simply leave you awed. Thank you, Davy, for sharing your craft, your art, and leaving us simply awed!” – Timmy and Amanda (Bride and Groom)
